Russell has earned over 40 100-point wines in his career, including the world's only 100-point wine in 2011. Russell began crafting Elyse wines in 2018.

Reed Skupny
Director of Winemaking
Born in St. Helena, Reed's career in wine began at Pahlmeyer. New Zealand was next, followed by a study of Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc at France's Domaine Bernard Baudry. Reed has since worked for more than a decade with some of Napa's most notable and dynamic wineries.

Keith Hegarty
Cellar Master
Keith began his career in Sonoma County making hard cider before discovering a passion for wine and moving to Napa in 2018. Keith completed an internship at Crocker & Starr before finding Elyse and quickly proving himself in the cellar.

Ethan Naranjo
Cellar Tech
Ethan has worked in wine since 2018 and Joined HQ in 2022. He appreciates both the long days of harvest and the slower moments in the cellar. Outside of work, he spends time with his family and enjoys the outdoors.

Garett Lyon
Hospitality
Garett is a Napa Valley native who has spent 20 years in the luxury wine and restaurant space, including Thomas Keller Restaurants and Garguilo Wines. Garett loves sports and time outdoors, especially skiing and tennis.

Melissa Bond
Wine Club Manager
Melissa is a Napa Valley native who has been in hospitality for 25 years, most famously at Napa's beloved Oxbow Wine Merchant. In her spare time she leads the children's choir at St. Helena Choral Society.

Dean Williams
Hospitality
Dean is a Pisces from San Francisco who loves miniature dachshunds. A former sommelier, he’s passionate about restoring vintage italian scooters when he’s not waxing poetic about Elyse wines or trying to find the next best wood fired thin crust pizza.

Randy Green
Hospitality
Randy came to HQ in 2022 after 17 years working for Thomas Keller at Bouchon. He loves sports, the outdoors, traveling, and working on his old truck.

Steve Richards
President
Steve Joined HQ in 2023 after more than 25 years in the wine industry where he led sales for multiple wineries including St. Supery and Cuvaison.

Miguel Alcaraz
Controller
Born in Mexico, Miguel came to the US at a young age. He joined HQ in 2024, continuing a 15-year career in the wine industry. Miguel loves watching, playing, and coaching soccer with his kids.

Grant Beltrami
Logistics
A fifth-generation Napa Valley native, Grant Joined HQ in the summer of 2020 after obtaining a journalism degree. He loves dogs, comedy, gaming, DIY projects, and spending time with friends.
